We like this idea but we're going to see if this gets more traction over the next few months before diving in as this is no small feat for us to accomplish. In the meantime a number of our other supported datasources such as SQL and XML support this so you could potentially look into converting your data from JSON.

Hi Lukasz,
Can you tell us what you'd like to happen if the excel document or PDF is being populated with data outside the range or otherwise not allowed by Data Validation? Would you expect our Engine to terminate report generation?
