The more votes from users from different Customers an idea receives, the more likely the feature will be added in the near future.


How can we improve the newest version of Windward Core?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Converting text to a number before sorting

    Currently the only way to cast a value to an integer is through an out tag. If we have a text field that is a number we would like to convert it to numeric in the for each loop and then sort it numerically. For example if we have 01, 2, 3, 4, 05, 06 the current sort order comes out as 01, 05, 06, 2, 3, 4. We would need to convert these values to a number in the for each loop using NUMBERVALUE or CAST and then sort on these values. Currently we are only able to convert…

    I have added some dropdowns on Excel Windward Report and its working fine in base excel but when we are generating output file , dropdowns are not displaying. As per discussion with windward support team, Dropdowns are not feasible in windward.

    Kindly check and provide solution on dropdown feasibility.

    Hello Reporter,

    This idea is actually a duplicate of a previously entered idea that we have entered: http://ideas.windwardstudios.com/forums/248503-windward-beta-program/suggestions/37668871-excel-dropdown-lists-not-rendered-in-generated-out. We have accepted this idea for development and will be working on it in the future. I will update this ticket again in the future when development has started on this functionality. Thank you for your idea, and please submit any other suggestions you have to improve our products.

    Please clarify: are you talking about about support for OpenType Fonts? OpenType Fonts should already be supported in the product! Please let us know, if you are encountering an issue with OpenType Fonts, perhaps it is a bug…

  9. Excel report result file is not adjusting the size of the cell based on data length

    We are generating report in excel and facing one issue related to size of the cell based on data length.
    Report is not displaying complete data in cell as length/width of cell is not adjusting by windward report automatically based on data length.

    This would be similar to the formatting that can be applied to an Out Tag through the Properties tab. This would help to format data that's displayed in a Chart data table fields.
