  2. PDF/A-3 support

    Dear Windward team,

    the Java engine already has the ability to render PDF/A-1b compliant files. Would it be possible to extend it to other PDF/A conformance levels, mainly PDF/A-3?

    Thank you very much!

  3. Property or parameter for defining the decimal separator

    In earlier versions of Windward Reports the decimal separator expected in the data source was a point (".").
    The current Windward version (22) expects a decimal separator according to the given locale.
    In order to to avoid modifications in our customers' XML data sources we suggest a property (environment variable) defining the behavior regarding the decimal separator expectation:
    decimalSeparator=Point
    decimalSeparator=Comma
    decimalSeparator=Locale

    Thanks, Reiner

  4. Password protect excel output

    The same way you can protect a PDF with a password, it would be great if we could do it for excel files too.

  5. Support waterfall chart type

    Can you please support the waterfall chart type? Within the finance industry, this is a useful chart that allows us to illustrate the cumulative addition or subtraction of money from an opening balance to arrive at a closing balance.

    I have attached an example of what we have created in native PPT output. As a workaround, we achieved this by using multiple series - a base bar chart and two line charts. This only works when we output to PPT. However, by supporting a waterfall chart, we would be able to achieve this in PPT and PDF output, using PPT…
